Weed thoughts…
The Village Gallery of Arts August show, “Reflections,” features
a group show plus featured artist Pat San Soucie. The featured artist makes
her home in Clackamas, Oregon but she is well known as an artist and instructor
nationwide. Pat creates her watermedia paintings in a unique style by pouring
pigments through filters, yielding abstract textures, shapes and color. Originally
from the Midwest, Pat’s work reflects the “Midwestern field,
grass and weed thoughts, and forms of recognizable organic subjects.” She
taught a watermedia class at the Village Gallery in July.
The show opens August 7th and runs through Sept. 2nd.
The gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday 12 pm to
4 pm.
