Join the library's Winter Reading Challenge! Read for fun and help someone. Through Jan. 13 kids can record and report reading time. If we reach our community goal of 6,000 hours, a donor will purchase a pair of goats for a family through Mercy Corps. The family can use the goats to start their own milk goat herd. Mercy Corps helps people in some of the poorest parts of the world. Happy Winter Goat Reading!
Help out on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, by making mittens for a local shelter at 1 pm or by cleaning up the library at 3 pm. Spots are limited so please call the Bethany Library (503-617-7323) to sign up. Teen event.
