Cascadia Taphouse

It seems like you can get a beer or cider on tap at any movie theater or grocery store these days, let alone one of the countless taphouses across the metro area. And yet, throughout this beer and cider boom, Cedar Mill has remained without its own dedicated taphouse. Noting the lack of family-friendly places to get together for a beverage, aside from more traditional bar/restaurant establishments, local residents Jesse Udom and Rich DeCoste saw a need they could help fill.

The co-owners recently opened the Cascadia Ta

phouse, located on the west end of the Sunset Mall, with the aim of bringing back the old-school social network and creating a gathering place that is community and family oriented. It’s a place where you can set your phone down and strike up a conversation with your neighbors. Kids are welcome all day until 7 pm and outside food is allowed. They serve a limited menu of snacks such as chips and salsa, but with numerous restaurants nearby, you are encouraged to get something to go, and then head over to wash it down with a tasty beverage.

Cascadia Taphouse has 20 taps, comprised of primarily Oregon and Washington beers, as well as three ciders. They also offer a selection of wine as well as non-alcoholic options, so there is sure to be something for everyone. To-go cans and growlers are available too.

They host a handful of regular events such bingo and a bottle share. The location is also available for special events. Please see their website for more details.

Cascadia Taphouse is located at 13619 NW Cornell Rd and is open Sunday thru Wednesday 11 am-10 pm and Thursday thru Saturday 11 am - 11 pm.
