Megan Elisabeth Bruce,
July 17, 1980 – June 27, 2015

Megan was born in Portland to Virginia Rawak Bruce and Geoffrey Scott Bruce. She attended Metropolitan Learning Center, Lincoln High School, Portland Community College, and Portland State University, where she studied literature.

She loved music, reading, cooking, comedy, animals, and children, including her young nephew Carter. She is remembered by all as a kind and compassionate young woman with a great sense of humor. She lived in Cedar Mill since 1995 with Virginia and her partner, John Ramey.

She is survived by her mother and father, brother James Scott Bruce and his wife Jennifer, half-brother Gregory Scott Bruce, and stepmother Susan Parke.

The family laid her to rest in a private ceremony. She is being remembered at a private memorial gathering in Cedar Mill.

Donations to Friends of Outdoor School in her name will be appreciated, where she enjoyed several sessions as a counselor.
