Every year, millions of Americans aren’t able to vote because they missed the voter registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. National Voter Registration Day is a huge coast-to-coast effort to ensure no one gets left out. This isn’t about supporting candidates or political parties. It’s about making sure your voice is heard! Sunset High School Junior States of America students and the Bus Project Foundation will be at the library to help people register.
The deadline to register to vote in the November 3 election is October 13. Also, if you have changed your name or mailing address, you need to update your voter registration. The Cedar Mill and Bethany Libraries have a supply of voter registration forms in English and Spanish. You can also register online through the Oregon Secretary of State’s Office.
