Library News and Events
By Dawn Anderson
The Cedar Mill Library has opportunities for adults to get together monthly to discuss writing, books, films, and poetry. Meetings are held in the library’s upstairs meeting room and are coordinated by volunteers. Newcomers always welcome!
Film Club
Next showing: Wednesday, 11/25, 6:30 pm. This month’s feature is In Love We Trust. A divorced couple learns that the only way to save their little daughter Hehe, who suffers from a blood disease, is to have another child. Now both remarried, Mei Zhu and Xiao Lu are forced to test their love and their commitment to one another by putting their current relationships in danger.
All Film Club programs are free and open to the public. Selected films are not previewed and may contain objectionable material; therefore Film Club attendance is recommended for adults, aged 18 and over. Coffee, tea and popcorn are provided, and a lively discussion follows each film. Contact Vik Savara viksavara@yahoo.com, 503-805-5958.
