Tickets Now Available For ACMA Spectacular FundraiserFriday & Saturday, February 7-8, 7 pm, ACMA @ Timberland Middle School, 650 NW 118th Ave. Art and Communications Magnet Academy (ACMA), Beaverton's school for the arts and current Cedar Mill resident,* is hosting its second annual ACMA Spectacular! fundraiser next month. Tickets are currently available at acmapto.com/spectacular. "Last year's show was amazing," said Elia Freedman, whose sixth grader started at ACMA this year. "The talents of these students far exceed a typical middle or high school production." ACMA Spectacular last year featured choir performances, orchestra, jazz band, poetry readings, short plays, dance, and more. In addition, student artwork, paintings, and other interactive and hands-on art experiences were available before the show and during intermissions. The multi-act performance is ACMA's only all-school fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales support school programs, students, and teachers. "We are so excited to be presenting our second annual ACMA Spectacular," said Jami Curl, ACMA PTO President. "We have extremely talented students here at ACMA and this is a tremendous opportunity to showcase those talents to both the ACMA and Cedar Mill community." The ACMA Spectacular is a PTO, faculty, and student-led fundraiser. All sixth through twelfth grade students at ACMA are encouraged to participate. Tickets are $45. *ACMA is currently housed at Timberland Middle School through the 2020-21 school year while Beaverton School District rebuilds its facilities on Center Street. Timberland Middle School is at 650 NW 118th Ave.
