Compete as a team to see who can name the most songs and artists over multiple rounds. Individuals can compete in special speed rounds and in a Lip Synch battle. Call 503-644-0043 x114 to register. Free event for ages 11-18.
Teens age 12-18 can submit up to two original pieces of art that represent the "Build a Better World" summer reading theme. Prizes: Gift certificates to Powell’s Books and the Blick Art Stores.
The winner's art will be featured on Washington County's Teen Summer Reading posters, bookmarks and more. Rules: Ask at the library or visit the WCCLS website. Enter by February 13, 2017.
