Peterkort work on BarnesMany people observed equipment and workers on the Peterkort property on the north side of Barnes Road, and wondered if the company is finally going forward with a segment of its Master Plan. The area called Valeria View Centre calls for “mixed high-density office, residential and commercial buildings.” According to company principal Lois Ditmars, the work being done now is “investigational,” and might include geological reports. They are talking to a developer, who will share their plans when they are ready. The entire complex of properties was annexed into Beaverton in 2011. The city approved the Planned Unit Development application in 2014, and granted a two-year extension in December 2016. We’ll bring you more information as soon as it’s available.
