Salar’s Mediterranean Grill now openCedar Mill diners have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the newest restaurant in our community. Michael and Homah Irajpanah are pleased to welcome everyone to enjoy a variety of freshly-grilled meat and fish, along with traditional middle-eastern and Mediterranean salads and appetizers. Homemade dessert items round out lunch and dinner menus. The restaurant has been beautifully decorated in warm tones, with dark wood, statuary and white tablecloths. Michael and his son, who works in marketing and mortgage brokering, are using the office space on the second floor. Ample parking is available next to and under the building, and they’re planning a banquet room downstairs for the future. Old-world-style lamb, beef and chicken kebabs, along with fish and Cornish game hens are the mainstay, with 25 entrees on the dinner menu. Lunch items are under $10, dinners around $15. Desserts include homemade baklava, ice cream and rice pudding. They serve beer and wine, as well as coffee and black and herb teas and soft drinks. Salar’s is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm. The restaurant is located at the corner of Cornell and Dale, just a couple of blocks east of Murray Road. Phone is 503-641-8822
