Community Fair, Open House & Dog Parade!
Saturday, September 27th, 9-noon, Leedy Grange Hall, 835 NW Saltzman Road
Join us at Leedy Grange Hall as we open our doors and greet the Cedar Mill Community. Even if you don’t have a dog, you are welcome to participate in our one-mile parade, then return to the hall and stop at the various booths to visit our local emergency services and local businesses. It’s going to be a fun morning of events, including:
• Dress up with your dog and join us as we parade down Cornell Road and through the neighborhood back to Leedy Grange Hall. Prizes for various categories! Sign-in and registration at 9 am, judging at 9:15.
• Meet our Ambassador from Dogs for the Deaf, a non-profit organization we help support that trains working dogs for the hearing impaired and for individuals with Autism.
• Meet officers from the Washington County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit
• Visit the Red Cross Emergency Preparedness Booth
• Talk with a local crew from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue
• Stop by Cedar Mill Library’s table and learn about fall programs
• Chat with representatives from local Cedar Mill businesses
• Come back later in the evening for our Community Dance from 7-10 pm
• Learn about Leedy Grange, what we’re doing for our community and how you can join us!
