A Local Farrier Comes Clean

Author Ron Tatum will visit the library to discuss his book, Confessions of a Horseshoer. Offering a close and personal look at the mind-set of a professional horse-shoer (farrier) who also happens to be a college professor, Tatum’s book is an ironic and playful view of the many unusual animals (and people) the author has encountered over 37 years. Join us in the Cedar Mill Library’s upstairs community room. Free, no registration required.

Save Your Photos Day

Do you have photos on your hard drive, phone, tablet and memory cards? Do you ever think about “what if…” there was a fire, flood, disaster, theft – what would happen to all of your precious photos, videos, memorabilia, letters etc.? Have you tried to use cloud storage, synch your photos from your camera, use an external hard drive – all these choices are overwhelming.

If you would like to learn how to safely and securely back up your photos, join Rita Norton, a certified professional photo organizer for 15 years, in celebration of Save Your Photo Day. This free program will be held in the Cedar Mill Library’s upstairs community room. No registration required.
