May is National Bike Month

Time to get back on your bike, enjoy the fresh air and have some fun! Bike to Work and School Week is May 14-18.

Starting May 26, the Washington County Bicycle Transportation Coalition (WashCo BTC) will be providing free* ($5 suggested donation) bicycle safety inspections for visitors to their Cedar Mill Farmer’s Market booth. They will also be selling and properly fitting bicycle helmets, each equipped with a medical carrier information system. Stop by when you visit the market. They have maps and educational brochures so you’ll know where to ride safely.
