Urban and Rural Reserves public outreach continues with online surveyMetro, our three-county regional government responsible for setting growth boundaries, is conducting a study to determine the best places for future growth—Urban Reserves—and the places that should remain undeveloped—Rural Reserves. Mike Dahlstrom, Washington County Program Educator who is leading the county’s citizen involvement for the Reserves study, says, “Now you can gain background information and provide input from the comfort of your easy chair. The Urban and Rural Reserves designation process now has an online survey at www.co.washington.or.us/reserves.” Another open house for the project will be held July 12, from 9 am to noon at Metro, if you missed the June 16 Beaverton session. Visit the website for more information and to take the survey.
