CMBA Meeting Notes

Our Holiday Luncheon was a great success! Around 35 people enjoyed a delicious spread including Italian Wedding Soup from Safeway, a deli platter of cold cuts, cheese and condiments from Bales Thriftway, cookies from Evelyns’s Bakery, and yummy pastries and cookies brought by Tilly’s. Local businesses donated items for a raffle, including bottles of wine, certificates for services, pocket calendars, jewelry and more. Everyone who attended got one ticket, and businesses who paid for their 2008 membership at the meeting got ten extra tickets. We had eleven businesses join or renew. Just about everyone attending won something in the raffle and a great time was had by all. 

There will not be a meeting of the Cedar Mill Business Association in January. The February meeting, on Tuesday, February 12 at noon in the library, will be an election for the new Board of Directors and for the executive positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The slate of candidates for these positions will be emailed to CMBA members during January.
