It’s probably too late to sort out the mess that is the road network in Cedar Mill. The roads were built to serve the loggers and farmers that first settled the area, following native trails and winding around farm properties to get goods to Portland and Beaverton.

Scouts send snacks to Iraq troops
As part of their service project, the Dragons Patrol from Boy Scout Troop 208 of Cedar Mill decided to collect specific food donations from Safeway store customers and work with the Coalition of Troop Support organization to bundle the collected food items into holiday gift packages for our U.S. troops in Iraq.
Dark Skies vs. Light Pollution
As a life-long resident of Washington County (55 years and counting), one of my biggest disappointments in the impact of population growth has been the increase in light pollution.

The west and south margins of Cedar Mill Park, adjacent to Cedar Mill School on Cornell, contain a trail that winds through a lovely variety of native herbs, shrubs and trees.
“Enchanted Kingdom” at Rock Creek
Cedar Mill’s Harmony School will be performing an original comedy called “The Enchanted Kingdom” at the PCC Rock Creek Forum on December 16 at 5:00 pm.
