Amy Jo McCarville, Public Education Coordinator for Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVF&R), will explain how calls are routed and who shows up in an emergency. “As an all-hazard response agency, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVF&R) provides emergency response well beyond fire suppression. Residents are often surprised to learn that as many as 80 percent of the calls crews are dispatched to are medical in nature.”

Traffic conditions on roads near the TriMet crossing on 185th Avenue and Baseline Road definitely need improvement. These traffic conditions could worsen as housing and traffic increases in this area. We hope to hear how Hillsboro, Beaverton, Washington County and TriMet are coordinating to identify possible solutions and address funding issues. 

As part of the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association meeting, developers will present on a proposed 55-unit apartment building at the corner of Barnes Road and Valeria View. In addition to the building, grading is proposed for the parcel on the west side of Valeria View. The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more or commenting on the proposal.

Following the Neighborhood Meeting, the developers expect to submit the application this summer.

 Special Use, Master Plan, and Development Review for the expansion of Catlin Gabel School main campus and Property Line Adjustments to consolidate lots. The original application in 2021 was to develop a new Middle School. The application has had several revisions since then, modifying the campus layout. The application was accepted by the county on January 2. Comments are due by March 6. Visit this page to submit your comments.
