May Elections

Cedar Mill neighbors will be receiving ballots soon for the May 20 Election. The Washington County Elections page includes links to each candidate’s official application. The Voter Guide you will have received has more information. If you misplaced or didn’t receive the Voter Guide you can download it here.

On our ballots will be Beaverton School District Board of Director candidates for four of the seven zones. Though candidates are nominated from the board zone in which they live, voters in the district elect them at-large. Each board member has several school assignments that may or may not be in their zone. A candidate forum was held in April, you can watch it here.
Also on the ballot are three Director positions for the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue District.
The Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District has three Director positions up for election. Each candidate is unopposed.
Tualatin Valley Water District has three open positions also. Each of the candidates is unopposed.
It’s not too late to sign up for Ballot Tracking. Register now to get an update when your ballot is received.
You can either mail your ballot (allowing plenty of time for it to be received by Election Day) or drop it off in the dropbox in the parking lot of the Cedar Mill Library or any of the other locations. Dropboxes close at 8 pm, and updated results begin to be posted after that.
