Step up to Be a Track & Field Coach
THPRD needs volunteer coaches to support local middle school track teams. Volunteer coaches provide an enjoyable learning environment for youth athletes, while promoting participants’ physical, social, and personal development. Get more information or sign up to volunteer here.

One of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims, Eid commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The celebration is co-produced by THPRD, Cool Islam, Islamic Community Center of Hillsboro, Islamic Society of Greater Portland, Bilal Masjid, and Afghan Support Network. With inflatables, laser tag, bazaar, food vendors, and more, this is a celebration not to be missed! All are welcome to come experience this. Dia de los Niños y Dia de los Libros (Children’s Day and Book Day)

Spring Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 19, 10-11:15 pm, Cedar Hills Rec Center, 11640 SW Park Way, pre-registration required, $10 in-district)/$12.50 out-of-district
Join us at Cedar Hills Rec Center for a hopping great time gathering candy-filled eggs plus activities for the whole family! We also have an All-Abilities Egg Hunt for kids with sensory sensitivities, and/or mobility needs. Pre-registration is required for all hunts. New Elementary Track Club
Saturdays, April 5-May 17, 10-11:30 am, Cedar Hills Rec Center, 11640 SW Park Way, grades 3-5, registration required, $8 T-shirt fee
Kids will learn about running, throwing, and jumping, and the season will end with a track meet at a local high school.
Outdoor Court Reservations
Starting April 1st, two of the six PCC Rock Creek Tennis Courts will be available for the public to reserve M-Th from 5-9:30 pm and Sunday, 10 am-1pm. Additional locations will be added in May.
Adult Softball Leagues Begin
The HMT softball fields will play host to the THPRD Adult Men’s, Open, and Industrial softball leagues in April. More info here.
Spring Volleyball League
The Spring Adult Volleyball League will play Sunday-Thursday evenings at the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center. More info here.

Spring maintenance activities
Staff are shifting to spring maintenance activities, including weed treatments and mowing of trail shoulders and right of ways. Staff will replace the Elizabeth Meadows Wetlands Bridge decking this month. Two new benches were installed along the trails in the Lowami Hart Woods forest.

Restore the Natural Areas
Saturday, April 19, 9-11:30 am, The Bluffs Park, entrance off of the south side of South Drive at 11945 NW South Dr., free
Join your neighbors as we remove English ivy from the natural areas of The Bluffs Park! All ages are welcome and youth ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a reusable water bottle to drink from throughout the day. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please sign up at the event webpage.
