Pride Month Kickoff Dance Party

Please join us in an inclusive celebration as we kick off Pride Month with a lively dance party honoring our LGTBQ+ community! In addition to dancing, there will be plenty of kid-friendly activities, including arts and craft stations and fun games and activities celebrating acceptance and togetherness. This event is open to everyone, so come as you are and show your pride!

Replacement of Willow Creek Greenway Boardwalk
The Willow Creek Greenway east boardwalk replacement will occur this summer. Construction is expected to begin in late May 2025 and be completed in November 2025. The site, between the Waterhouse Trail and NW Waterhouse Ave, will remain closed until the new boardwalk is finished. To learn more, please visit the project webpage.

National Senior Health & Fitness Day

Inclusive Spring Fling Dance

International Cooking Classes in May

In celebration of National Tennis Month and our 70th anniversary, the Babette Horenstein Tennis Center is partnering with USTA to offer a free community event aimed at introducing tennis to one hundred new adult players. Two events are available at two different locations and times. All equipment provided. Light refreshments for registered participants. Off-site Pickleball Reservations
Beginning May 1, we will be offering dedicated reservation times at Raleigh Park (4 courts, permanent nets) and Cedar Hills Park (3 courts, bring your own net) on M/W/F from 10 am-1 pm and T/Th from 5-8 pm. Reserve on the THPRD Court Reserve portal.

Baby Owls
Visitors to the Tualatin Hills Nature Park may see baby owls in the trees along the Vine Maple Trail. You can download a trail map here.

Native Plant Sale Pick-Up and Volunteering Opportunity

Please remember to pick up any plants that were ordered. Additionally, volunteers are needed to help unload plants, as well as tagging and sorting plants for the sale. To register to volunteer, please visit the event webpage.

The Cedar Hills Rec Center is teaming up with NW Steelheaders and the Oregon Conservation & Recreation Fund to teach the community how to fish. This fun, hands-on event is perfect for all ages. Registration is required. Oregon Fish & Wildlife will provide equipment. If patrons want to bring home any fish, they should bring a container and cooler (ziploc bags, ice, etc.).
Volunteers are needed to help with setting up for the event, greeting event attendees, assisting with fishing activities, and cleaning up after the event. Please visit the event webpage to volunteer.

Join us for an afternoon where classical music and the sounds of Persia combine when the Portland Youth Philharmonic returns to the Walters this spring. Presenting a performance from their Sound Garden series and featuring its chamber orchestra, Camerata PYP, the program will showcase newly composed works by Farhad Poupel, Kamyar Mohaher, and Bobak Salehi for traditional Persian instruments and orchestra.
