A reader alerted us to the theft of the master key for all cluster mailboxes in the 97229 zip code. Apparently, a carrier was held up and the key was stolen in early December. Mailboxes were found opened and mail was taken beginning around December 9.

Hundreds of neighbors attended our third Annual Tree Lighting on December 7! The weather held for the entire celebration—chilly and clear. The 15-foot tree was installed in the small plaza between two buildings of the Milltowner Shopping Center next to Insomnia Coffee and was generously sponsored by Bales Findley Property Management, provided by and installed by Cornell Farms, and decorated by Chris Mattocks, his family and friends.
