Five Oaks Museum Showcase
May 2, 6 pm, Register for link
The Fourth Annual Museum Showcase this spring will be a lively virtual event featuring local stories, music, and art to celebrate the museum’s groundbreaking exhibitions, educational materials and programs, and the incredible community leaders who bring our work to life.
This year’s program will feature Mariah Berlanga-Shevchuk, Lead Curator of Replenish the Root, our current exhibition that celebrates the layered history of Chatakuin, the historic Five Oaks site. We will also hear from local artist, and dedicated museum supporter, Marilyn Joyce, who will share meaningful connections between the land, her artwork, and the museum. Guest Curators Lehuauakea (DISplace) and Steph Littlebird (This IS Kalapuyan Land) will pop in with updates about how those exhibitions continue to grow and reach new audiences. More presenters still to be announced! Register now so you get the link to the event. And ask us how you can join the sponsors for this program.
