Saddle-up Summer Bike Camp
Registration is open now. Register online here.
WashCo Bikes offers a skill-building and fun camp where campers will spend the better part of each day riding and exploring. During the week, they’ll get introduced to mass transit and how to board with their bike. Towards the end of the day, they’ll head back to the classroom to meet parents for pickup.
Camps have two groups based on age: Wheelies, ages 8-10, and Cruisers, ages 11-12. There is a limit of 15 kids per camp. Campers must be able to ride a bike without aids. The closest location to us is at Griffith Oaks Park in Hillsboro. Camp dates at that location are July 15-19; July 29-August 2; and August 12-16. The camp runs weekdays, 9 am-3 pm. Drop-off time is 8:30-9 am, pick-up time is 3-3:30 pm.
Cost for a week of camp is $325. WashCo Bikes has a limited number of scholarships so please contact Nancy at info@washcobikes.org if you want to apply. They will ask if you can afford to pay something towards the camp so it will stretch scholarships. Visit the website for more details.
