CPO 1 September meeting canceled
The presidential debate is scheduled for September 10, the same night as the regular CPO 1 meeting, and we know many of our members will want to watch that. Please join us on October 8. We will be hearing pros and cons about Measure 118 (the “Oregon Rebate”) on the November ballot, and have a presentation on the Sheriff’s Office mental health programs.
Neighborhood meeting
A meeting was held on September 3 to discuss a proposed six-lot development on a 1.22 acre property on Alpenglow Way. The property’s address is 10260 NW Leahy but if developed, the lots would be accessed from Alpenglow. The existing house on Leahy will remain. The owner, Vince Biggi, is being represented by NW Engineering.
Dale Street development approved
A hearing was held in July to consider the application for a seven-unit townhouse development at the south end of Dale Street. On August 26, the decision was published to approve the development. Protection and enhancement of the adjacent wetland area was included in the conditions of approval.
