A year ago we included an article about the poor home cellular service in the Bonny Slope area. Finally a year later things seem to have improved!

A tower was installed along Saltzman this fall, causing traffic delays, but currently I can report that I no longer have to have wi-fi calling turned on to receive calls and use my phone at my house and around the neighborhood. I use Xfinity Mobile, which provides coverage using the Verizon network. I’ll be interested to hear if my many neighbors who have been experiencing the same issue can finally turn off their wi-fi calling!
