TriMet schedule changes
Starting on April 2, no more than 10-15 riders can be on a bus at one time—10 individuals, or up to 15 if people are riding together (such as couples or parents with children). TriMet is also closing off some seats—there will be a sign that says you can’t sit there. Both these things should help keep a safe distance from each other and our operators for the people who need to ride.
TriMet will be reducing service on MAX, WES and most bus lines starting April 5. These changes are temporary as they adapt service to match the reduced need for transit due to COVID-19. This is a painful-but-necessary adjustment that will help them bounce back quickly when this public health crisis passes.

These service changes are in our Trip Planner. Updated schedules will not be posted online until April 5.
