In an effort to declutter, you’ve collected some things you no longer need. What should you do with them? You could throw them in the trash, of course, but that seems wrong when the items are still usable. What you’d like is to give these things to someone who needs and wants them.

• What’s the public’s role in reporting? Best practices?
• Aside from you and the state websites, are there other resources for restaurant owners that you know about? Professional groups, unions, etc?

Continuing the “Beetle Battle”
The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is continuing its multi-year effort to eradicate the Japanese beetle, an invasive and destructive insect pest in your neighborhood in 2021. Thanks to your support and cooperation, we have had success in reducing the Japanese beetle populations in Oregon, but more efforts are required.

This article pertains not to OSU sports teams, but instead to North America’s largest rodent, a common resident of Cedar Mill and Oregon’s state animal. The American beaver (Castor canadensis) was trapped almost to extinction across America by the 1800s, due largely to demand for beaver pelts.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office actively seeks community input—we want to do our best! There are several ways to let us know how we’re doing, including methods for openly reporting so we can contact you if you would appreciate that, and anonymously reporting.
Oregon updates traffic speed rules

Ride Connection expands
Ride Connection is a free service for individuals (primarily those who have disabilities and/or are senior citizens) in select regions of Oregon. In the past month, this transit program has received funding to better serve Oregonians.
